Preparation
Please arrive clean and refreshed. We recommend to exfoliate 24hrs before your appointment as this will remove any dead skin cells on the surface that will make it easier for the hair to be removed.

 

Length of hair
The hair needs to be a minimum of 1 centimetre to ensure maximum results. If you have been shaving, you need minimum of 2 weeks growth. If the hair is too short, the therapist will recommended that you do not carry out the treatment. If you worry about the hair being too long, don’t worry we will trim it for you. We want to give you the best result and don’t want to waste your money.

 

Dress code
Intimate wax services are provided naked and no paper pants will be provided. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Don’t forget, we are ladies too and we have seen it all! We also recommend that it is more suitable to wear loose fitting clothing for after your wax as the skin is sensitive and you don’t want any irritation to occur.

 

Consultation
On your first visit to the Waxing Specialist you will have to fill out a consultation form. This will only take 7 minutes to complete and will help us to provide a safe service for you. Everything discussed is confidential. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you are nervous, we are happy to answer all your questions Don’t be shy. We are professionals and we love waxing!

 

Treatment
To ensure our treatments are as comfortable and efficient as can be, we use what we believe to be the best waxing products around. We use a brand of hot wax called Lycon, this product allows us to remove difficult or stubborn hair growth or if the case we can re-apply on the same area many times without the wax feeling too hot and without skin trauma or irritation. This is because Lycon wax is set at a temperature of 55°, we also use the combination of the Lycon pre and post products. These products ensure us that the application of these on our clients will not just soothe and cleanse our clients but also using the pre-waxing oil we can highly reduce any skin lifting. Using this brand means we can apply the wax on the most sensitive areas i.e. face, underarms and the intimate area.

We also have a strict NO DOUBLE DIPPING POLICY this means we do not cross contaminate between our clients.
During the treatment, every step of the process will be explained to you and we may need your help. All you have to do is follow our instructions. Helping with skin stretching, getting into different positions and so on. Because of this, no mobile phones or magazines will be allowed during your treatment. This is about teamwork.

 

Health and Safety
We welcome all ages in our salon and we understand being a parent can restrict time for personal appointments but taking in consideration that we are a waxing salon we kindly recommend that there is someone to supervise your children while you have your treatment or to book a appointment where you are free as it is not a suitable environment , there is many hazards for young ones.

 

 

Payments
We accept CARD PAYMENTS ONLY.  We do not accept AMEX 

 

No shows
Arrival more than a few minutes late for your appointment means we cannot spend the time we need to give you a proper service, we will do our utmost to accommodate clients but we may not be able to do the treatment you have booked for and go for something to suit the time we have we always recommend to call if this is the situation for you. We understand that everyone gets held up at work sometimes, the traffic is bad, and the kids get in the way of plans! But please if you can’t make it to your appointment use our online system to cancel the session. Please don’t forget to cancel before 24h as you will be charged the full amount or an entire session if you’re on a package.
